I graduated from the computer science department at National Taiwan University, the premier computer science institution in Taiwan. I received a solid grounding in linear algebra, algorithms, coding, and machine learning. In addition, I went to Academia Sinica, the most prestigious research institution in Taiwan, to conduct research in Music AI with Dr. Yi-Hsuan Yang. I had the experience of implementing various deep learning models to address drum loop generation, an under-explored task, and I presented the results at the ISMIR ‘21 conference. I made significant contributions to the research community. Moreover, I interned for three months as a computer vision engineer at Qualcomm Inc. Several end-to-end deep learning generation models were developed to address misalignment issues in the 3D mesh construction task. Then, I moved to the Natural Language Processing and Sentiment Analysis Lab (NLPSA) at Academia Sinica, where we addressed fine-grained emotion classification tasks using pre-trained language models with a loss function newly designed by our team. In my free time, I like to sing and play the violin to relax my mind.
